Davida Roofing Systems Enhances Water Access at Sokode Senior High Technical School
In a significant move to bolster educational infrastructure, Davida Roofing Systems has donated polytanks to Sokode Senior High Technical School (SHTS) in the Volta Region. This initiative, part of the "Water for All" project led by Volta Regional Minister Hon. James Gunu, aims to improve access to clean water in underserved schools and communities.
During the handover ceremony, Davida Roofing's CEO, Mr. David Kwame Aziago, emphasized the company's commitment to supporting education and community development. He stated, "This gesture symbolizes our steadfast support for those dedicated to learning and our commitment to ensuring students always have access to potable water for a brighter future."
Hon. James Gunu commended Davida Roofing Systems for their timely and impactful contribution, urging other stakeholders to support the initiative. He remarked, "Supporting schools and communities with reliable water access is a vital step in empowering the Volta Region."
Representing the school's headmaster, Mr. Isaac Kofi Dzidzienyo, Volta Regional Director of Education, Mr. Francis Agbemadi, expressed gratitude for the donation. He noted that the polytanks would significantly enhance the school's water supply, benefiting both students and staff.
This donation aligns with Davida Roofing Systems' ongoing commitment to corporate social responsibility. The company has previously undertaken various community development projects, including renovations at UNMISS GH 11’s Battle Training Camp in Bundase, contributions to the Mepe Resettlement Project, and support for orphanages across Ghana.
